Use of StreetShield

StreetShield helps users view local safety signals, reports, alerts, trusted Circle information, HomeSafe trips, and related safety summaries. Information in StreetShield may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, unverified, or moderated. Users are responsible for their own decisions and safety. Do not confront, pursue, patrol, retaliate, or take unsafe action based on app content.

Emergency Disclaimer

StreetShield does not replace police, fire, ambulance, emergency dispatch, security patrols, professional advice, or 000. If there is an immediate threat to life, safety, property, fire, or medical wellbeing, call 000 now.

User Responsibilities

• Keep reports factual, short, and behaviour-focused.
• Use approximate location context rather than exact private addresses.
• Follow the Community Guidelines and local laws.
• Do not post names, exact private addresses, phone numbers, licence plates, doxxing, suspect accusations, profiling, harassment, threats, or vigilante language.
• Do not submit knowingly false, misleading, spammy, or abusive reports.
• Do not bypass moderation, rate limits, subscriptions, entitlements, or security controls.

User Content and Moderation

StreetShield may review, moderate, redact, remove, merge, retain, restrict visibility of, or add context to reports and other user content. StreetShield may mute, rate-limit, suspend, ban, or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

Location Features and HomeSafe

StreetShield uses location to support maps, nearby alerts, reports, zones, and HomeSafe trips. HomeSafe is started by the user and is intended to provide automated trip progress and check-in awareness for trusted-person updates. It does not guarantee safety, live human monitoring, response, rescue, or emergency dispatch. Background location should only be used during an active HomeSafe trip.

Subscriptions

StreetShield may offer paid tiers such as StreetShield Plus and Street Lead. Subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing management for iOS digital features are handled through the App Store and configured subscription providers such as RevenueCat. Access depends on active entitlements and App Store subscription state. Paid features may change over time.

Account Deletion and No Warranty

Users can delete their account in Profile > About & Legal > Delete account. Some records may be retained for fraud prevention, abuse handling, moderation, legal compliance, financial records, and service security. StreetShield is provided as an awareness tool without guarantees that reports are accurate, complete, current, verified, or suitable for any particular action.
