What We Collect

• Account information such as email, authentication state, optional profile details, and Sign in with Apple identifier where used.
• Approximate and precise location while the app is open for nearby alerts, maps, reporting, and zone/radius matching.
• Incident reports, confirmations, comments/advisories where available, timestamps, approximate locations, moderation reports, and moderation outcomes.
• Circle membership, roles, invitations, advisories, and activity logs needed to operate private circles.
• Subscription product, entitlement, renewal/expiry state, and purchase validation data from the App Store and RevenueCat.
• Device/app metadata, API logs, trust and safety signals, rate-limit records, abuse-prevention records, support messages, and SDK diagnostic or usage data needed to operate bundled services such as maps and Google Sign-In. Bundled providers may process device identifiers, user identifiers where declared, phone number where declared, other data where declared, product interaction, other usage data, crash data, and performance data for app functionality, diagnostics, and analytics.

How We Use Data

• Authenticate users, protect accounts, and provide customer support.
• Show nearby incident signals, maps, feeds, summaries, and alerts.
• Place reports at relevant approximate locations and match them to nearby zones/circles.
• Moderate, redact, remove, rate-limit, mute, ban, or retain reports where needed for safety and compliance.
• Prevent spam, false reports, abuse, doxxing, harassment, and unsafe escalation.
• Validate subscriptions and restore purchases.

StreetShield does not sell personal data and does not use personal data for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising.

This submitted build does not request background location.

Sharing and Service Providers

StreetShield may share limited data with service providers that operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, email verification and password reset delivery, SMS delivery if enabled, alert or push notification delivery if enabled, maps, subscriptions, moderation tooling, SDK diagnostics/analytics needed to operate bundled services, and customer support tooling. Authentication providers may process account identifiers, email address, name, phone number where declared, other data where declared, and usage data as declared by their SDK privacy manifests. Maps providers may process map, device, user identifier where declared, and diagnostic data needed to display and operate maps. StreetShield may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the public, to investigate abuse, or to enforce Terms and Community Guidelines.

Your Controls

• Manage notification settings, zones, radius, alert mode, and quiet settings in the app.
• Choose whether to grant location permissions in iOS settings.
• Report inappropriate content.
• Delete your account in Profile > About & Legal > Delete account.

Retention

StreetShield retains data only as long as needed for app functionality, safety, moderation, abuse prevention, legal compliance, financial records, and service security. Some moderation, abuse-prevention, legal, and billing records may be retained after account deletion where required.
